There’s nobody fishing. It’s too hot. The river is a little bit low.

I’m selling some bait but they are fishing at Osceola or Truman or some where else. You have to at least go to Sac River to find moving water.

We are open from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. Closed Sunday and Monday.

Caplinger Woods

The Corps is running water every day starting about 2 p.m.. I’m told they will run water every day.

All the camping spaces are booked. I still have a few canoes to rent..

I haven’t been here since last Friday. I don’t know what the are catching off the bridge.

We serve big biscuits and gravy on Saturday and Sunday from when we open at 9 a.m. until we runç out.

We charge $5.49 for biscuit and gravy.

We are open Monday thru Saturday 9-6 and Sunday 9-5.

We are open Monday-Thursday 8-5, Friday-Saturday 7-7, Sunday 7-5.

The lake is down to just over 1 foot above pool. Water temp. is 88 degrees.

Crappie have slowed down but they are still on the brush piles. You just have to finesse them.

Walleye are sporadic. They are on the flats at 16 to 21 ft. I’d troll around the brush piles. That is what has worked for me in the past.

The white bass are absolutely exploding in the coves early and late,

Nothing is biting in the middle of the day.
