Taberville Report

Dains Fish Farm

After hours 660/781-8020

The river is about a foot low. We are part of Truman Lake so when we are not flooding, the TV report on lake levels is good for us here at Taberville.

We are open from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. Closed Sunday and Monday.

We are open Monday-Thursday 8-5, Friday-Saturday 7-7, Sunday 7-5.

The lake is down to one foot below pool. The Corps is running the water from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. or 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday this week. I didn’t look further than that in their on line report. I’m on the lake trolling for walleye with zero success. I’ll put the Corps tnternet address in my report next week

Water temp. is 84 degrees.

Crappie have slowed down but they are still on the brush piles and other structure. You still have to finesse them. They like minnows best.

Walleye are sporadic on live bait.

Nothing is biting in the middle of the day.
