They are still catching flatheads and blue cats. Flatheads only bite live bait. Blue cats will bit about anything. Bigger blue cats bit live bait.
There aren’t many people fishing yet. Lots of people say they are going to fish in October.
We are open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Closed Sunday and Monday.

We are open Monday – Thursday 8-5, Friday – Saturday 7-7, Sunday 7-5.
Stockton lake is still down about 4.5 feet below pool. With this cooler weather, the Corps only generates power for an hour or so occasionally.
Watch out for rock where you didn’t think there were any.
Fishing is mediocre.
The largemouth bass are starting to bite. A Hog Waller bass tournament is scheduled for the weekend of Sept. 26.
Water temp is 74 degrees.
