Monday just about every other rig on the road was a fishing boat. The weather was just about perfect: warm, reasonable wind. Fishing had to be great. We’ll find out abut the catching next week.

They are still catching what they were last time: crappie, a few walleye, some catfish, a few white bass – not as many as they were last time.

Taberville Report

Fishing is good. The boat ramp is a little crusty here at Taberville. It’s hard to get a boat in.
They are catching a lot of whites, blues and flatheads. Crappie are biting up Sac River.
They are catching the cats on about anything. The live bait does a lot better. The bigger fish usually hit on live perch and goldfish.

They tell me that the walleye are still on the gravel not on the rocky points. They are catching crappie in the deep water.
Nobody has really complained about the wind today (Saturday). It’s supposed to pick up tomorrow.
