Fishing is pretty good.

I had some campers. In three days they caught 23, 24 and 28 fish. The biggest was a 40 lb. blue. They were using lines and jugs. They had some flatheads but nothing big.

All I’ve got right now is goldfish for bait.

Lake Stockton Report

Stockton State Park Marina

A guy came in this morning. He said thy were catching walleyes on the points using bottom bouncers about 20 feet deep.

They are catching some black bass and some white bass along the rock walls on spinners.

The hunters are starting to come in.

They are catching walleye in 15 to 20 feet of water on bottom bouncers on points.. A lot of them are short fish..

Caplinger Woods is closed until next March. Call 417/276-3838 to make an appointment and they will open up for you.

The old bridge is open 24/7/365 as a fishing platform. The camping ground stays open.
