Fishing Report for July 6

The fish were biting like crazy yesterday.

They were catching blue cats mostly and channels and flatheads on shad and nightcrawlers and about anything you wanted.

The river looks good. It will probably lull out and trotlining will be good.

We may be open until 2 Wednesday then we may go to Rich Hill and look at them guys.

Lake Stockton Area Report

Fishing has been pretty good lately.

Guys have been trolling for walleye about 25 feet deep with worm rigs.

Crappie  are hitting about 15 feet deep in brushpiles.

They are catching catfish on shad. One of he boys said he caught a 20 pound flathead on shad.

They are still catching crappie at Caplinger. I don’t know if they are any size.
