Dains Fish Farm

The fishing is good. The catch is slow. They’ve caught a few good fish. Don’t get me wrong. One of the guys caught one Monday that weighed 30 lbs. But they are not setting a new world record, either.

I’ve got three people who have been rod and reeling pretty heavy about every day. They are catching about half a dozen white cats.  They are baiting with cut shad mostly. That one guy uses perch.

You can pick up a few crappie out of the river.

R&R Sporting & Tackle.

Fishing is not too bad.

They are running water again down at Caplinger. I haven’t heard on that.

They are catching some crappie up at Schell but not like they were.

It’s slowed down quite a bit. They are going to their nests to make more.

Happy Hookers

Fishing is alright, I guess. Things have slowed down a little.

The water is sporadic at Caplinger. They kick it on and off right now.

They are running it right now. Some guys caught a few this morning, but nothing great.

The crappie have gone deep in the lake. And they are still catching walleye in 20 – 25 feet of water using worm harnesses behind a bottom bouncer.

Cat fishing is picking up a little about anywhere. They are catching them up close to the edge right now in probably 10 ft. of water using shad.
