Taberville report
by Bobby Dains
Dains Fish Farm
We weighed a 122 lb. spoonbill. I didn’t get a picture. They caught a 90 pounder two weeks ago.
The wind is blowing so hard here Saturday afternoon that people aren’t fishing. You’d need a lot of lead just to get your hook in the water. I’ll call back before you close at 7.
At 6:30 People started coming in with fish. They’re catching fish off the bank. I wouldn’t call it good, but it’s reasonable. The biggest spoonbill I weighed this afternoon was a 65. It wasn’t supergood from the bank. We need the weather to change.
People got tired of snagging, so they’d catfish.
They’re still finding a few mushrooms. I wouldn’t say the wind didn’t dry them up some. The ones I bought were a little damaged but they weren’t bad.

Caplinger Woods
They are starting to catch a few up by the dam – crappie, white bass, walleye and channel cats. They’re hitting minnows and jigs.
