It was a slow bite for keepers on Stockton Lake Nov. Thirty-four American Bass Anglers launched from Old State Park at 7:30 a.m. looking for 15” bass. Justin Delk took the win with a 5-fish limit weighing 14.29 lbs which included Big Bass of the tournament, a 3.71 largemouth. He won $1058.

Austin Lowrey came in second place with 12.27 lbs; Eric Craft was 3rd with 10.90 lbs. Anglers reported catching fish on spinnerbaits, crankbaits, jigs, and soft plastic. A high number of fish were caught, but the keepers were harder to find. Fish were caught in many different parts of the lake, some shallow and some deep.

This was one in a series of tournaments all to be held on Stockton Lake. Anglers are fishing for cash, prizes and points which will qualify them to fish a 2019 Championship to be held in June of 2019 and then a National Championship on Eufaula Lake, AL Oct. 13-18, 2019.   The next D126 tournament is scheduled for Dec. 8, 2018.
