Bring your baby to explore the Nature Center trails with Naturalist Jordi Raos. We will let baby touch and see new things. Bring a trail-ready stroller or baby carrier as we’ll be walking the hilly Nature Center trails. Please also bring a small blanket for you and baby to sit on when we stop to look at things. Adults, please remember to wear a mask and social distance.

Up for a bit of birding? The Springfield Conservation Nature Center is a great place to see and hear a variety of bird species. Please bring binoculars if you have them. No birding experience required. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable hiking shoes. Please remember to wear a mask and social distance.

Hiking: Homesteaders Trail at Henning Conservation Area

Friday, May 14, 9 am – 12 noon

Hike the Homesteaders Trail at the Ruth and Paul Henning Conservation Area near Branson. Meet at the parking lot on the north end of the area (see directions on registration page). Bring water and wear comfortable hiking shoes. Hike is four miles and rated moderate to difficult. Please remember to wear a mask and social distance.

Conservation TEENS: Fishing for Fun
