Dr. Kevin Bradley, MU Associate Professor of Weed Science, will present a Weed Management Update: Some Thoughts on 2016 and Looking Forward to 2017 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 22, in the Sheriff’s Conference Center, 13 W Dakota, Butler  He will discus  herbicide management strategies old and new, dealing with resistant weeds, palmer amaranth showing up in the area, and sprayer and drift management importance with new technology.  With palmer amaranth commonly found in Barton County and a plant located in Vernon County, it is only a matter of time before we will be battling this weed along with others.  The new dicamba herbicde will bring changes to drift management and sprayer clean out methods.
