The Cedar County Commission met November 17,2025. Present: Kenneth Thornton; Presiding Commissioner; Ron Alumbaugh, Northern Commissioner; Ted Anderson, Southern Commissioner, Carla Lowe, Treasurer, Peggy Kenney, Commission Assistant, and Cbrislym Price, County Clerk.
9:00 a.m. Collector Lisa Nelson presented court orders to be signed. Commission signed court orders, numbers 122972-122999
9:04 a.m. Assessor Leah Morton presented weekly report
9:37 a.m. Anderson made a motion to approve $1,000 down payment invoice for Body Cameras from Axon Enterprise to be paid out of the Opioid money, Alumbaugh seconded the motion, the motion passed unanimously with Thornton voting yes as well.
10:05 a.m. Conference call with Mirra Cornejo, Cedar County Health Department Environmental Specialist, Septic System updates.
