The Cedar County Commission met Jan. 26. Present: Kenneth Thornton, presiding commissioner; Ted Anderson, southern commission; Ron Alumbaugh, northern commissioner and Christlynn Price, county clerk.

9 a.m. Assessor Leah Morton presented weekly report, discussion on concern about SB3.

9:30 a.m. Amy Hedrick with Mid Missouri Bank, Commission signed laon agreements for sheriff department vehicles.

9:40 a.m. Undersheriff Kevin Lowe with Cedar County Sheriff office, inmate count of 29.

9:42 a.m. Anderson moved to approve a Premier Communications invoice for $57,944.55 to be paid from General Revenue. Alumbaugh seconded the move, the move passed unanimously with Thornton voting yes as well.

10:25 a.m. Thornton signed Extension amendment to Lake Patrol Contract.

10:26 a.m. Commission signed SB3 ordinance, this takes effect as long as SB3 passes litigation.

2:30 p.m. Alumbaugh moved to approve the contract with Clear Basin to gather the information for the tax payback in the amount of $7,500 with $3,750 being a down payment. Anderson seconded the move; the move passed unanimously with Thornton voting yes as well.

2:55 p.m. Zach Lollar with family cemetery questions.

3:36 p.m. Collector Lisa Nelson presented court orders numbers 123471-123542. Anderson moved to open an escrow account, for the taxes paid in protest with Lisa Nelson and Carla Lowe being signers on the account. Alumbaugh seconded the move, the move passed unanimously with Thornton voting yes as well.

Reviewed and approved accounts payable.
