The Cedar County Commission met June 15,2026. Present: Kenneth Thornton; Presiding Commissioner; Ted Anderson, Southern Commissioner, Ron Alumbaugh, Northern Commissioner, Chrislynn Price, County Clerk.

9:00 a.m. Sheriff James McCrary presented weekly report, inmate count of 34 with 10 more being brought from Bates County which brings the inmate count to 44.

9:00 a.m. Collector LisaNelson presented weekly court order numbers 124187-124218

9:10 a.m. Assessor Leah Morton presented weekly report

9:45 a.m. Weston Hanger with Great River Engineering with BRO updates

10:40 a.m. Victoria Barker and M i Cornejo with CCHD concerning Septic Update

1:00 p.m. DJ Ford Road and Bridge Supervisor presented weekly update

3:30 p.m. Treasurer Carla Lowe request to ask Laura Woody with Cedar Comity Fentanyl Awareness for bank statements to ensure all receipts match with bank record for auditing purposes.
