Approved Commission Minutes for June 4, 2019.

Met with Chad Pyle, Assessor

Requests to process court order 24615-24621, to add-on the assessed valuation of newly purchased personal property.

Met with DJ Ford, Road & Bridge Supervisor

Discussed prices for jackhammer rental, 2019 FEMA project, and box culvert at Power Line road.

Henry Ainley stopped in to request road repair on CR1500.

Met with Cheryl Marcum concerning the forum held on June 5, 2019 for SB391.  Discussed future forums and what can be done by August 28th.

Met with Sheriff James McCrary

Weekly Report of Inmate Housing – Out of County – 56, Cedar – 8 = 64

Discussed need for additional digital repeater at Jerico Springs or El Dorado Springs.

Tom Rodgers stopped by to report need for ditch repair on CR1550, south side of his drive.

Bill Sitz stopped by to report need of repair on CR1101 at Stump Ford Bridge for debris cleanup.  Noted concern for road damage and potential bridge damage on CR1051 and CR300, damage created from semi-tractor trailers for trucks running over weight on bridge. Commissioners contacted farm operator about routing & bridge weight limits.

Richard O’Keefe stopped by to report need of repair on CR1225/CR1700.

Mark Francis stopped by concerning road dispute between land owners.   

John Warner stopped in to discuss road repair on CR1500.

West Central Community Action Agency – Chris Thompson and Julie Engeman stopped in to discuss new growth services and to explain the head start contract.

Connell Insurance – Greg Williams to discuss workers compensation renewal with MPR.

Commission approved appointment of Joey Elder (previous incumbent) to Cedar Hall Special Road District Commissioner by request of Tom Lewis and Ashley Brummett, current board of special commissioners.

Commission reviewed letter submitted by prosecuting attorney for “Notice of Noxious Weed”.

Commission reviewed payment requests submitted by the Treasurer for discretionary funds by elected officials including BRO-B020(12) refund to MODOT.

Commission reviewed and approved monthly reports for Cedar County Health Department and County Clerk Office.

Bills and payroll were approved.
