Requests to process court order #29020-29024 to add-on the assessed valuation of newly purchased personal property.

Byron Hamilton stopped in to ask if the burn ban was still in effect; it is.

Received a resident call concerning CR525 near 54 HWY, feed trucks are coming through once a week for the next couple years.  The road is narrow and in need of rock.  It was recently graded but with a little bit of rain is almost impassable.

Motion by Anderson to approve up to $10,000 for the Assessor Office for additional costs incurred for the Assessor truck and additional one-time costs for software needs for addressing, GIS and mapping, second by Boultinghouse.  Anderson – Yes; Boultinghouse – Yes; Thornton – Yes

Conference call with Victoria Barker, CCHD

Discussed current status of plans for the carport, the location is still an issue, and the bidders were notified of changes which has eliminated one of the bidders and she is still waiting on the other two.  Barker has requested keys for a back storage area of the CCMH Clinic that CCHD has items stored in.  Without access CCHD would not be able to retrieve necessary items in an emergency.  Commission reviewed August work log reports.

Deputy Jeffries stopped in to introduce Thomas Miles, recently hired Deputy Sheriff.

Met with DJ Ford, Road and Bridge Supervisor

Discussed maintenance needing done on CR525, and CR1550.  Received a THANK YOU from residents for mowing along CR850, and for taking good care of the gravel and ditches.  Anderson and Boultinghouse traveled roads with Ford in the afternoon. Some gravel will be applied on Tuesday.

Anderson and Boultinghouse rejoined the meeting.

Reviewed a letter prepared to send with paystubs for employee health insurance changes effective 10/1/2023.

The Commission signed a letter of recommendation for the Greenway Housing Solutions for a Missouri Housing tax credit program to construct a new apartment complex in El Dorado Springs.

Arlo Rupke, Emergency Management Director cancelled his appointment with the commission this week.
