In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Aug 22 – Arrest: Kyle D Newton, 29, El Dorado Springs, charging him with driving while intoxicated, careless and reckless Driving, and stop sign violation. He was released on summonses pending court appearance.

Aug 23 – Officers responded to 312 West  54 Hwy, Woods Supermarket, concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a 24 pack of Red Diamond tea bags and Best Choice dark roast single serve coffee cups. Investigation continues.

Aug 24 – Officers responded to 311 South Grand concerning a reported peace disturbance. TInvestigation resulted in the arrest of Terry L. Espinoza-Harwood, 54, El Dorado Springs, for an active Belton Municipal warrant, charging her with fail to appear to answer to a traffic violation with a $150 cash or surety bond. She was transferred to Belton Police Department pending bond or court appearance.

Officers responded to 805 South Kirkpatrick concerning a reported assault. Suspect has been identified investigation continues.

Arrest: Aaron J. Laur, 29, St. Louis, for an active State warrant charging him with parole violation on the original charge of aggravated assault on a family member with a weapon with no bond. He was transferred to Cedar County jail.

Officers responded to 302 east Hospital Rd concerning a reported larceny from a motor vehicle. Investigation revealed the attempted theft of license plates. Investigation continues.

Aug 25 – Officers responded to 212 West Walnut concerning a reported peace disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrest of William A Hunt, 43, El Dorado Springs, charging him with assault. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Aug 26 – Officers responded to 403 South Ohio, Aptt #11, concerning a report assault. Investigation continues.

Aug 27 – Officers responded to 700 South Park concerning a reported peace disturbance. Investigation continues.

Aug 28 – Officers responded to 100 South Main, City Park, concerning a report of a person bathing in the Park. Investigation resulted in arrest of Danielle R Cox, 32, El Dorado Springs, charging her with bathing in the Park prohibited, trespassing and hunting or firearms in Park prohibited. She was released on summonses pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 502 South Forrest concerning a reported disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Sean Lightner, 23, El Dorado Springs, charging him with assault. He was released on summons pending  court appearance.

Officers responded to 500 East Field Street concerning a reported larceny. Suspect was identified and investigation continues.

Officers responded to 1607 South Park Street concerning reported property damage. Investigation revealed damage to a vehicle. Suspect identified and  investigation continues.
