In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On December 10, 2018, officers arrested Heather D. Thorell, 41, for a Vernon County Felony Warrant charging her with Fraud-Identity Theft, with a $5,000.00 bond. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On December 10, 2018, officers responded to 305 S. Grand concerning theft of city utilities. The investigation revealed the theft of City Water, Sewer and Electric Services. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On December 10, 2018, officers responded to 500 E. Fields concerning a reported assault. A juvenile suspect has been identified and referred to the juvenile office.

On December 11, 2018, officers responded to 1406 S. Missouri 32 Highway concerning a reported larceny-fraud.  A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On December 12, 2018, officers arrested Tyler P. Poore, 35, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Court Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Second Degree Trespassing, with a $402.50 bond, and, a Cedar County Felony Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Non-Support, with a $500.00 cash bond. He was released on bond pending court appearances.

On December 12, 2018, officers responded to 312 W. US 54 Highway, Woods Supermarket, concerning a reported larceny (shoplifting). The investigation resulted in the arrest of Angela K. Barlow, 39, of El Dorad Springs, charging her with stealing (shoplifting). She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On December 13, 2018, officers responded to 901 S. Grand on a delayed report of a larceny which occurred at 602 S. Jackson, between December 12, 2018, at 3:30 PM, and December 13, 2018, at 7:45 AM. The investigation revealed the theft of a cup with approximately $5.00, in coins. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On December 15, 2018, officers responded to 104 W. US 54 Highway concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a cordless, 18V Dewalt Hammer Drill with two battery packs, a blue, 6FT, fiberglass step ladder, a silver, 4FT aluminum step ladder, a silver 2FT aluminum step ladder, and tool tray containing multiple hand tools. A report was taken and the investigation continues.
