In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On August 12, 2019, officers arrested Juliette E. Shaw, 49, for an active El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear on the original charges of Driving While Revoked, Nuisance-Junk, and Failure to Appear, with a bond of $842.50, an active El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear on the original charges of Trespassing and Fail to Obey Officer with a bond of 401.00, and, an active Jackson County Felony Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear on the charge of Assault, with a cash only bond of $10,000.00. She was extradited to Jackson County pending bond and a court appearance.

On August 12, 2019, officers responded to 305 West Hightower concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a red, Hyper Tough, 21” Cut lawn mower. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On August 13, 2019, officers responded to 102 Winner Road concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed theft of a greenhouse and outdoor play swing set. The greenhouse was later recovered. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On August 13, 2019, officers responded to 501 South Main concerning property damage and tampering with city utilities. The investigation revealed an unauthorized connection with City Electric Service. A suspect was identified and summonses were issued for Property Damage and Utility Tampering.

On August 14, 2019, officers arrested Christina M. Jewell, 36, for an active Cedar County Felony Warrant charging her with Property Damage and Resisting Arrest, with a cash only bond of $750.00. She was released on her own recognizance pending a court appearance.

On August 14, 2019, officers responded to 215 West US Highway 54 concerning a delayed report of a larceny that occurred on August 10, 2019. The investigation revealed the theft of lawn mower battery. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On August 15, 2019, I responded to 406 South Ohio concerning a reported burglary. The incident revealed the theft of a white, five gallon bucket full of miscellaneous items and a butcher knife. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On August 16, 2019, officers arrested Louis M. Stockdale, 27, for an active Vernon County Felony Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Non-Support, with a cash only bond of $665.50. The warrant was later recalled by the Vernon County Courts and he was released from custody.

On August 16, 2019, officers responded to the Serenity Storage units on the 100 block of East Hayden Street concerning a larceny from storage units and property damage. The investigation revealed the theft of a small, white countertop burner and a woodworking tool. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On August 16, 2019, officers arrested Jesse M. Hill, 37, for an active El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving While Suspended, with a bond of $426.50. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On August 17, 2019, officers arrested Scott T. Stockbauer, 44, on the charges of Possession of Marijuana-Under 35 Grams, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No Head Lamp on a Bicycle, and Failure to Maintain Lane/Keep Right on a Bicycle. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On August 17, 2019, officers arrested Rita C. Whittle, 32, as a result of a traffic stop. Whittle was charged with Driving While Suspended and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was released on summonses pending a court appearance. Officers also arrested Melisha D. Page, 37, for the Probable Cause of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. A Probable Cause Statement was completed for these charges. Page was also issued summonses charging her with Possession of Marijuana-Under 35 Grams and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  She was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On August 18, 2019, officers responded to 200 West McCrary Circle concerning a reported larceny. The investigation led to the arrest of Darren A. Edmiston, 21, charging him with Larceny Under $500.00. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On August 19, 2019, officers responded to 310 South Grand concerning utility tampering and the theft of city utilities. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On 08/19/2019, officers arrested Paul D. Coleman, 48, for a St. Clair County Felony Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Stealing – $750 or More, with a $2,500.00 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On August 20, 2019, officers arrested Patrick L. Decker, 29, of El Dorado Springs, charging with Driving While Suspended, Speeding, Displaying the Wrong License Plates, and Failure to Show Proof of Insurance. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On August 21, 2019, officers responded to 115 West Fields concerning a reported peace disturbance. The investigation led to the arrest of Michael R. Murphy, Jr., 25, for Peace Disturbance. He was released on summons to the Cedar County Sheriff pending a court appearance.

On August 21, 2019, I responded to 511 South Ohio concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a lawn mower battery. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On August 22, 2019, officers responded to 300 East Spring concerning a reported burglary. Continuing with the investigation, on August 24, 2019, officers arrested Dani L. McRae, 29, of El Dorado Springs, for the Probable Cause of Burglary in the Second Degree, Possession of Burglar’s Tools, and Larceny, and Thomas B. Jewell, 39, of El Dorado Springs, for the Probable Cause of Burglary in the Second Degree, Possession of Burglar’s Tools, Larceny and Property Damage. Officers completed probable cause statements for these charges. McRae was also issued summonses for Permitting an Unlicensed Driver to Operate a Motor Vehicle, Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle, No Seat Belt, No Proof of Insurance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Jewell was issued summonses for Failure to Obey a Lawful Request of a Police Officer, No Seat Belt, No Proof of Insurance, and No Valid Operator’s License. On August 25, 2019, officers received a Cedar County Warrant charging McRae with Second Degree Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools, Stealing, and Second Degree Property Damage, with a $5,000.00 bond, and a Cedar County Warrant charging Jewell with Second Degree Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools, Stealing, and Second Degree Property Damage, with a $10,000.00 bond. McRae and Jewell were transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and court appearances.

On August 22, 2019, officers arrested John J. Cox, 37, of El Dorado Springs for a Cedar County Felony Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, with $5,000.00 cash bond, and a Cedar County Felony Warrant charging him with Resisting/Interfering with Arrest, with a $15,000.00 bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On August 22, 2019, officers arrested Patrick L. Decker, 29, of El Dorado Springs, for a Versailles Municipal Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Driving while Suspended/Revoked, with a $500.00 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On August 23, 2019, officers responded to 318 South Grand concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a red, five gallon can full of gasoline. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On August 24, 2019, officers responded to 301 South High concerning a reported larceny that occurred on August 23, 2019. The investigation revealed the theft of two shotguns and two, Xbox One, gaming consoles. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On August 25, 2019, officers responded to 116 West Oak concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed the theft of two pair of tennis shoes. Suspects have been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.
