In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

On September 9, 2019, officers arrested Eric M. Tompkins, 34, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Felony Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Domestic Assault, with a $5,000.00 bond.  He was transported to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On September 9, 2019, officers responded 407 South Main, US Post Office, concerning a reported larceny and property damage. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On September 9, 2019, officers received a report of a larceny of a firearm from 1007 South Jackson.  The investigation revealed the theft of a SCCY 9mm semiautomatic pistol.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

On September 10, 2019, officers responded to 100 West Spring in reference to a burglary.  The investigation revealed the theft of a camouflage Bear single cam bow and case.  This investigation continues.

On September 10, 2019, officers responded to 220 West Joe Davis Street concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a black, LG Rebel, cell phone that was later recovered. A suspect has been identified, a report taken, and the investigation continues.

On September 11, 2019, officers arrested Patrick L. Decker, 29, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with Driving While Suspended, Failure to Display Plates, Failure to Signal, and Failure to Provide Proof of Insurance. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On September 12, 2019, officers responded to 300 North Summer concerning a domestic assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Christopher A. Gray, 28, of El Dorado Springs, for the Probable Cause of Domestic Assault in the Third Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Officers completed a Probable Cause Statement for these charges. On September 13, 2019, officers served Gray with a Cedar County Felony Warrant charging him with Domestic Assault in the Third Degree with a $10,000.00 cash bond. He was transported to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On September 14, 2019, officers arrested Terry G. Coleman, 53, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charges of Failure to Wear Seat Belt and Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle, with a $250.00 cash bond. He was transported to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On September 15, 2019, officers responded to the 100 Block of West Spring concerning a reported theft from a motor vehicle. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On September 15, 2019, officers arrested Thomas R. Hill, 43, of El Dorado Springs, for a Nevada Municipal Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on the ordinal charge of No Proof of Insurance, with of $150.00 cash bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On September 15, 2019, officers arrested Karl L. Horning, 37, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Warrant charging him with Second Degree Aggravated Assault, with a bond of $5,000.00.  He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On September 15, 2019, officers responded to 403 South Ohio, Apartment 6, concerning a reported domestic assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Dewey M. Foster, 34, on the charge of Assault in the Third Degree. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.
