In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Sept 19 – Officers responded to 120 West Olive Street for a report of property damage.  Suspect identified and investigation continuing.

Arrest: Donald L. Daniels, 51,  El Dorado Springs for Vernon County warrant for forgery with a cash or surety bond of $5,000. He was released on bond pending  court appearance.

Sept 20 – Arrest: Christopher Applebee, 19, El Dorado Springs for the probable cause of possession of a controlled substance.  Officer applied for and received a Cedar County warrant charging the suspect with Class C felony possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana with a cash or surety bond of $15,000. He was extradited to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond or ocourt appearance.

Officers responded to the 1000 block of South Park Street for a report of tampering with a motor vehicle.  Report was taking and investigation continues.

Sept 21 – Arrest: Elizabeth D Anderson, 31, El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County warrant for forgery with a cash or surety bond of $5,000. She was extradited to Vernon County Sheriff’s office pending bond or court appearance.

Sept 22 – Officers served a search warrant at 109 North Cedar Street. Officers arrested Jesse L. Ruston, 18, or El Dorado Springs, for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, he was released on summons pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 808 South Main, John D. Smith Library, concerning a reported larceny.  Investigation revealed the theft of three books and a DVD. Suspect identified and investigation is continuing.

Officers responded to 1302 Greenridge Road concerning a reported larceny. Investigation continuing.

Arressts: Michael R. Masters, 60, and Gina K. Perry, 55, El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of  possession of a controlled substance.  øfficer applied for and received a Cedar County warrant charging both with Class C felony possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana with a cash or surety bond of $10,000.  Both were released on bond pending court appearance.

Septr 23 – Arrests: Earl L Pinkman, 36, Sheldon for an active Cedar County warrant, for probation violation with the original charge of keeping or maintaining a public nuisance with a cash or surety bond of $1,500. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Wendi A. Kite, 38, El Dorado Springs for the probable cause of no operators license and possession of a controlled substance. She was released on summons pending court appearance.

Harley D. Perry, 36, El Dorado Springs for a Cedar County warrant for unlawful possession of illegal weapon, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia with a $25,000.00 cash only bond. He was extradited to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 500 East Fields, 25A, concerning a reported assault. Suspect identified and  investigation is continuing.

Sept 24 – Officers responded to the City Park concerning a reported larceny. Michelle L. Rees, 36, Nevada, received a summons for larceny and was released pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 1401 South Park, Cedar County Memorial Hospital, concerning reported assault. Investigation continuing.

Officers responded to 207 East Martin concerning a reported stolen motorcycle. Investigation revealed the motorcycle was recovered prior to being reported stolen by the Cedar County Sheriff’s office.

Sept 25- Arrests: Heather L Kershner, 41, El Dorado Springs, for third degree domestic assault. She was released on summons pending court appearance.

William A. Hunt, 44, El Dorado Springs, for a Polk County warrant for assault with a cash only bond of $1,000 and probable cause for burglary.

Officers responded to 805 South Kirkpatrick for a report of an assault. Suspect identified and  investigation continuing.

Officers responded to 300 South Main , for a report of property damage. Investigation continuing.
