The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 119 requests for assistance this past week, July 13-19. The requests were as follows:

Ambulance 22, Animal Control 8, Assist Other Agencies 20, All Escorts 0, Nuisance 0, All Other Requests for Assistance 77, Summons 10.

Found Property is available for viewing, Monday through Saturday, by appointment only. A detailed description of the property you’re wishing to view must be specified when making the appointment. Found Property is subject to disposal after 90 days based on value of the property if unclaimed by owner.

Police Report

On July 13, 2020, officers responded to 318 West Lafayette concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed the theft of a silver Craftsman air compressor. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On July 13, 2020, officers arrested Heather M. Willmore, 34, of El Dorado Springs, after she had turned herself into the department for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging her with Failure to Appear on an original charge of Trespassing, Driving While Suspended, No plates, with a $677.50 bond. She was released pending a court appearance.

On July 14, 2020, officers arrested Louis M. Stockdale, 27, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charges of Littering and Pedestrian manner of travel, with a $226.00 bond,   a Vernon County Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear for Non-Support with a $525.00 cash bond and a Barton County Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Tampering with a Motor Vehicle with no bond. He was transferred to the Vernon County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On July 14, 2020, officers arrested Heather D. Thorell, 42, of El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County Warrant, charging her with Failure to Appear with the original charge of Identity Theft with no bond. She was transferred to the Vernon County Jail pending a court appearance.

On July 14, 2020, officers responded to 304 South Kirkpatrick concerning a reported Larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a Missouri License Plate 4KCA88. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On June 16, 2020, officers arrested Dakota M. Herndon, 18, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of No Operator’s License with a $126.00 bond. He was released pending a court appearance.

On July 16, 2020, officers arrested Steven A. Caudill, 30, of El Dorado Springs, for a Probation Violation Warrant, on the original charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance with no bond. Caudill was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.

On July 16, 2020, officers arrested Tyler N. Arrington, 22, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charge of Driving While Revoked with a $607.00 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On July 16, 2020, officers arrested John D. Donahue, 36, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Warrant, charging him with Possession of a Controlled Substance with no bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.

On June 17, 2020, officers arrested Brandon L. Parker, 22, of El Dorado Springs, for the Cedar County Sheriff’s Office probable cause of larceny. He was transported to Cedar County Jail pending a Warrant application.

On June 17, 2020, officers responded to the 100 block of South Main concerning a reported theft. The investigation revealed the theft of a green lawn chair. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On July 17, 2020, officers arrested Adam D. Kruse, 39, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging him with ATV prohibited on City Streets with a$75.50 bond and a Cass County Warrant, charging him with Failure to appear on a traffic Violation with a $100.00 cash bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On July 17, 2020, officers responded to 507 South Park concerning a reported Trespassing. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Logan M. Joplin, 21, of Kansas City, Missouri, charging him with Trespassing and Property Damage. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On July 19, 2020, officers responded to the 100 block of South Main Street concerning a reported peace disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Frank J. Woodall, 30, of Rich Hill, for the probable cause of Assault and Property Damage. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

The department received a total of 127 requests for service.

The investigation revealed the theft of a CNA identification card, operator license, Turbo Tax debit card, US Bank debit card, Wal-Mart Gift Card, and Woods reward card. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On July 21, 2020, officers responded to 113 Winner Road in reference to a larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a fanny pack contained an AARP credit card, $150.00 cash, and a savings account book. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On July 22, 2020, officers responded to 204 West Spring on a reported tampering with a motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the word “Blood” had been written on the window of a parted vehicle.  A report taken and investigation continues.

On July 22, 2020, officers responded to 1606 South Jackson concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of an American Flag with the image of President Trump. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On July 22, 2020, officers responded to 317 West Spring concerning a reported tampering. The investigation revealed the words, “Blood Gang Bitch” had been written on the side of the residence. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On July 22, 2020, officers arrested Gary W. Patterson, 54, of El Dorado Springs, for a Miller County Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on original charges of Driving While Revoked, with no bond. Patterson was also arrested for the probable cause of Driving While Revoked. Patterson was transported to the Vernon County Jail pending transfer to Miller County Jail.

On July 26, 2020, officers arrested William E. Soban, 35, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Driving While Revoked, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Officers completed a probable cause statement for these charges. Soban is being held pending a warrant.   

The department received a total of 136 requests for service.
