The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 98 requests for assistance this past week, Oct. 19-25. The requests were as follows:

Ambulance Assists 9, Animal Control 10, Assist Other Agencies 21, All Escorts 1, Nuisance 1, All Other Requests for Assistance 59, Summons 14.

Found Property is available for viewing, Monday through Saturday, by appointment only. A detailed description of the property you’re wishing to view must be specified when making the appointment. Found Property is subject to disposal after 90 days based on value of the property if unclaimed by owner.

Police Report

On On October 19, 2020 officers responded to 301 North Grand for a reported burglary. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On October 21, 2020, officers responded to 1703 South Main for a reported larceny. The investigation revealed in the theft of two Zebco 404 fishing poles,  Shakespeare Ugly Stik fishing pole,  brass deep sea fishing reel, pancake Air Compressor and prescription sunglasses. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On October 22, 2020 officers responded to 209 South Vernon concerning a reported burglary. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On October 22, 2020, officers responded to 114 West Patricia concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a Blue Mig Welder, Dewalt 3/8 drill, Dewalt 1⁄4 drill, Dewalt 3⁄4 impact, Dewalt 1⁄4 impact, and a game camera. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On October 22, 2020, officers responded to 501 South Grand concerning subjects with arrest warrants. Officers arrested Trenton Jarvis, 23, of El Dorado Springs for a Cedar County Warrant, charging him with Burglary with no bond, and Lindsay Fears, 21, of El Dorado Springs, for a Butler County Warrant, charging her with Possession of Cocaine, with a $1000.00 bond. They were both transported to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and court appearance.

On October 24, 2020 officers responded to 700 South Park, Apartment 2, concerning a reported burglary. Officers arrested Wadyn Kitarogers, 18, Springfield, for the probable cause of Burglary, Domestic Assault and Peace Disturbance. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On October 25, 2020, officers responded to 504 East Fields Street, E9 concerning a reported assault. A report taken and the investigation continues.

The department received a total of 101 requests for service.

On October 29, 2020, officers arrested Falen Andrews, 37, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging her with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving While Suspended, with a bond of $532.00. Ms. Andrews was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On October 29, 2020 officer arrested Korey Wegner, 34, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging him with Fail to Appear on the original charges of Burning Solid Waste. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On October 30, 2020, officers responded to 200 West McCrary Circle, Apartment 37, concerning an assault. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On October 31, 2020, officers responded to 1409 South Summer a violation of a protection order. Officers arrested Joseph Hughes, 31, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of violating the order of protection placed against him. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On October 31, 2020, officers arrested Louis Stockdale, 28, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, for Failure to Appear on the original charges of Littering, with a bond of $276.50. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.

The department received a total of 93 requests for service.
