In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Oct 31 – Officers responded to 808 South Main  concerning a suspicious person screaming. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Elizabeth D Morris/Anderson, 31, f El Dorado Springs, for assault on law enforcement officer and a Vernon County warrant charging her with forgery with a $5,000 cash bond. She was transferred to the Vernon County jail pending bond and court appearance.

Nov 1 – Officers responded to 504 South Park concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a chainsaw. Investigation continues.

Officers of the El Dorado Springs Police Department served a search warrant at 200 McCrary Circle, Apt #12, after receiving information of illegal drug activity. Officers located illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia evidence. Investigation resulted in arrest of Amanda R. Holman, 32, El Dorado Springs for the probable cause of possession of a controlled substance, maintaining a public nuisance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers completed a probable cause statement for these charges.  Officer received a Cedar County warrant charging Holman with felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia with a $5,000 bond. She was released on bond pending  court appearance. Also arrested was Delbert R Warren, 58, El Dorado Springs, for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Nov 2 – Officers responded to 901 South Grand, El Dorado Springs R-2 High School, concerning a reported assault.  Juvenile suspect has been identified and referred to the juvenile office.

Arrests:  Jonathan L Houdeshell, 26, El Dorado Springs, charging him with driving while revoked, no proof of financial responsibility and displaying wrong plates. Houdeshell also has an active Nevada Municipal warrant for failure to appear with the original charge of driving while revoked and no proof of insurance with a $935cash only bond.  He was released on his own recognizance pending court appearance.

Darrell W Gant, 58, El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of possession of a controlled substance and colors of various lamps.  Officers completed a probable cause statement for these charges. Officers received a Cedar County warrant for Mr Gant charging him with possession of a controlled substance and colors of various lamps prohibited with a $5,000 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Steven A. Caudill, 27, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers complete a probable cause statement for these charges. Officers received a Cedar County warrant charging Caudill with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia with a bond $5,000.  He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

Officers responded to 500 East Fields Street, trailer #11, concerning a reported disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrest of James W. Chambers, 49,  Fair Play, charging him with domestic assault third degree. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 1301 East Industrial Parkway, Southwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center, concerning a reported assault. Suspect has been identified,  and investigation continues.

Nov 4 – Officers responded to 100 East US Hwy 54, Casey’s General Store, concerning a reported larceny (leave without pay). Investigation revealed the theft of $19.98 of fuel. Investigation continues.

Nov 6 – Arrest: Matthew A Highley, 33, Nevada, charging him with driving while suspended, driving while intoxicated and unlawful use of a weapon. He was released on bond pending court appearance.
