In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Law enforcement activities
The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 94 requests for assistance this past week, Aug. 23-29. The requests were as follows:
Ambulance Assists 12, Animal Control 18, Assist Other Agencies 13, All Escorts 2, Nuisance 9, All Other Requests for Assistance 46, Summons 6.

On August 23, 2021, officers arrested Brandon J Marriott, 38, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charges of Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Trespassing with $1720.50 bond. He was released on recognizance pending a court appearance.
On August 23, 2021, officers arrested Donna L. Pitts, 55, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Driving While Revoked. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.
On August 24, 2021, officers arrested Shaeffer B, Johnson, 22, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Court Warrant, charging him with Failure to Display a Valid Plates with a $181.50 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.
On August 25, 2021, officers responded to 211 West Hickory concerning a larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a lawn mower battery. A report taken and the investigation continues.
