In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Law enforcement activities

The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 79 requests for assistance this past week, Oct. 4-10. The requests were as follows:

Ambulance Assists 8, Animal Control 11, Assist Other Agencies 18, All Escorts 1, Nuisance 6, All Other Requests for Assistance 43, Summons 2.

Found Property is available for viewing, Monday through Saturday, by appointment only. A detailed description of the property you’re wishing to view must be specified when making the appointment. Found Property is subject to disposal after 90 days based on value of the property if unclaimed by owner.

Police Report

On October 4, 2021 officers arrested Brandon J. Marriott, 38, of El Dorado Springs, on an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear, on the original charges of Trespassing, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with a $1770.50 bond.  He was released after a court appearance.

On October 4, 202, officers responded to 302A South Kirkpatrick concerning the theft of a debit card.  The investigation revealed the theft of a debit card. A suspect was identified, report taken and the investigation continues.

On October 5, 2021, officers responded to 117 West Marshall concerning a Domestic Assault.  A suspect was identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

On October 10, 2021 officers responded to 305 West Hightower concerning an assault. Suspects were identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.
