Nov 21 – Officers responded to 100 South Main, City Park, concerning a report of property damage. Investigation revealed that several light bulbs from the Christmas lighting decorations were removed and broken.  Investigation continues.

Nov 22 – Arrests: John R Gruber, 37, El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant charging him with a probation violation on the original charge of burglary,possession of a controlled substance and distribution of a controlled substance with no bond. He was transferred to Cedar County jail pending court appearance.

Matthew Keller, 43, Humansville, for a Cedar County warrant charging him with endangering the welfare of a child with a $2,000 bond. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 216 West Spring concerning a reported disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrest of John E. Sieleman, 37,  El Dorado Springs, charging him with peace disturbance. He was released on summons pending  court appearance.

Nov 23 – Officers of the El Dorado Springs Police Department assisted by deputies of Cedar and St.Clair Counties served a search warrant at 708 South Main, after officers received information concerning illegal drug activities. Officers located illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia with the assistance of the St Clair County Sheriff’s narcotic detection dog. Investigation resulted in the arrests of Robert J Gainey,31, and Robyn J Purkey, 39,  El Dorado Springs, charging them with larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia, Walter D Wilkerson, 53, and Kelsey A Usher, 24, EL Dorado Springs, charging them with possession of drug paraphernalia and Jenna N Koski, 23, El Dorado Springs, for Cedar County warrants charging her with felony possession of controlled substance and tampering with a motor vehicle in the first degree with no bond, and for failure to appear on the charge of tamping with a motor vehicle with no bond. Gainey, Purkey, Wilkerson and Usher were released on summonses pending a court appearance and Koski was transferred to the Cedar County jail. Iinvestigation continues and additional charges are expected.

Officers responded to 115 East  54 Hwy, Pitt Stop, concerning a reported larceny (shoplifting). Investigation revealed the theft of a bottle of whiskey. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Timothy A Mogan, 53, El Dorado Springs, charging him with shoplifting. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Nov 24 – Officers responded to 500 East Marshall concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a Craftsman pressure washer. Investigation continues.

Nov 25 – Arrest: Jonathon T Micklich, 21, El Dorado Springs, charging him with driving while intoxicated. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

Nov 26 – Officers responded to 500 East Fields, trailer #8, concerning a reported assault. Suspect has been identified and  investigation continues.

Nov 27 – Officers responded to 311 East 54 Hwy, C&H Motel, concerning a reported domestic disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Damien L. Harder, 20, El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of domestic assault and unlawful use of a weapon. Officer completed a probable cause statement for these charges. The investigation continues.
