In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Law enforcement activities

The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 80 requests for assistance this past week, Nov. 22-28. The requests were as follows:

Ambulance Assists 13, Animal Control 5, Assist Other Agencies 11, All Escorts 1, Nuisance 3, All Other Requests for Assistance 47, Summons 3.

Found Property is available for viewing, Monday through Saturday, by appointment only. A detailed description of the property you’re wishing to view must be specified when making the appointment. Found Property is subject to disposal after 90 days based on value of the property if unclaimed by owner.

Police Report

On November 22, 2021 officers responded to 201 West Broadway concerning an assault. Suspects were identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

On November 23, 2021, officers conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle occupied by juveniles. Officers located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The juveniles were referred to the juvenile office.

On November 24, 2021, officers responded to 430 West Martin in reference to a larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of an air compressor and a chainsaw. A report taken and this investigation continues.

On November 24, 2021, officers responded to the 200 block of South Main concerning an assault.  Suspects were identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

On November 26, 2021, officers responded to 103 Radio Lane concerning a domestic assault.  A suspect was identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

On November 26, 2021, officers responded to 211 West Hickory concerning a larceny. This investigation revealed the theft of a Remington weed eater. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On November 26, 2021, officers arrested Tiffany L. Pendergrass, 25, of Lebanon, for a Laclede County Warrant, charging her with Fail to Appear on the original charges of No Seatbelt with a $10.00 cash bond. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On November 28, 2021, officers responded to 209 North Park concerning a peace disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Angela R. Sieleman, 60, of El Dorado Springs, for a Nevada/Vernon County Warrant, charging her with Fail to Appear on the original charges of Shoplifting with a $214.00 cash bond. She was released pending a court appearance.

On November 28, 2021, officers responded to 211 North Grand concerning a motor vehicle theft. This investigation revealed the theft of a silver Mercury Mariner, bearing Missouri plate CW1M5T.  A report taken and the investigation continues.
