In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Nov 28 – Arrests: Diamond L Marshall, 18, El Dorado Springs for an active El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant for failing to appear to answer to disturbance of the peace with a cash or surety bond of $175.50. She was released on bond pending court appearance.

Stephanie K. Pierce, 47,  Nevada, for an active Cedar County warrant for probation violation on the original charge of possession, with a $5.000 bond. She was released on bond pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 500 block of East Fields concerning a reported assault.  Subject has been identified and investigation continues.

Nov 29 – officers of the El Dorado Springs Police Department and the Cedar County Sheriff’s Office responded to 700 South Park Street concerning a reported domestic disturbance involving a subject with a felony arrest warrant. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Corey D Brown, 37, El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant charging him with two counts of domestic assault second degree with $25,000.00 bond. Officers completed a probable cause statement for kidnapping, domestic assault second degree and resisting arrest. Officers received a Cedar County warrant charging Brown with kidnapping, domestic assault second degree and resisting arrest with a bond of $5,000 cash only. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearances.

Officers responded to 118 West Walnut concerning a reported larceny from a motor vehicle. Investigation revealed the theft of three pairs of sunglasses. Report taken and investigation continues.

Officers responded to 106 West Olive concerning a reported larceny from a motor vehicle. Investigation revealed the theft of a trail camera, backpack, stocking caps, bungee cords, brown wallet and a portable DVD player. Investigation continues.

Officers responded to 1000 South Allison, Apt #17, concerning a reported larceny from a motor vehicle. Investigation revealed the theft of gasoline. Investigation continues.

Nov 30 – Officers responded to 118 West Hickory concerning a reported assault. Investigation continues.

Officers responded to 312 West 54 Hwy, Woods Supermarket, concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a bakery pastry. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Cody L Marshall, 19, El Dorado Springs, charging him with stealing. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Arrest: Nina H Decker, 26, El Dorado Springs, for an active Cedar County warrant charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of stealing with a $250 bond. She was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearance.

Dec 1 – Arrest: Martin P McGee, 37,  El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant charging him with probation violation on an original charge of driving while revoked, failure to have two headlamps, failure to register a motor vehicle and operated a motor vehicle knowing the owner has no financial responsibility with no bond, Cedar County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of theft with a $2,500 bond and an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of livestock at large and dog regulation with a $984 bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearances.

Dec 2 – Officers responded to 200 West McCrary Circle, apt #26, concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of medications. Report taken and investigation continues.

Officers responded to 219 North Main concerning a reported motor vehicle fire. Investigation revealed  a motor vehicle was set on fire. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Jesse L Ewing, 35,  El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of knowing burning, property damage, aggravated stalking, tampering with motor vehicle first degree and order of protection violation. Ewing was released pending warrant due to medical needs.

Dec 3 – Arrest: William S Cain, 43, El Dorado Springs, charging him with trespassing, assault and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Dec 4 – Officers responded to 1704 South Jackson concerning a reported larceny from a motor vehicle. Investigation revealed the theft of a bag containing two boxes of .270 Winchester caliber ammunition, Halo brand rangefinder, pair of Bushnell binoculars, pair of orange gloves, camo face mask,  Case fixed blade knife in sheath,  Gorilla tree limb saw, a grunt call, rattle bag and several turkey calls. Report was taken and investigation continues.
