The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 88 requests for assistance this past week, Feb. 28-March 6. The requests were as follows:
Ambulance Assists 13, Animal Control 13, Assist Other Agencies 18, All Escorts 0, Nuisance 4, All Other Requests for Assistance 40, Summons 9.

Police Report
On February 28, 2022, officers responded to 700 East US 54 Highway, Family Dollar, concerning a shoplifting. The investigation revealed the theft of food products and pens The investigation resulted in the arrest of April D. Green, 43, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Shoplifting. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On March 1, 2022, officers of the El Dorado Springs Police Department assisted by Cedar County Sheriff’s Deputies served a search warrant at 106 East Poplar Street, after receiving information concerning illegal drug activity. Officers located evidence of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Leslie M. Smith, 37, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause Manufacturing a Controlled Substance within 2000 feet of a School, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Assaulting a Peace Officer. Officers completed a probable cause statement for these charges. Officers received a Cedar County Warrant charging Smith with Manufacturing a Controlled Substance within 2000 feet of a School and Possession of a Controlled Substance with a $15,000.00 bond. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On March 1, 2022, officers arrested Jessica D. Beard, 30, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Warrant, charging her with Fraud with a $250.00 cash bond. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On March 2, 2022, officers of the El Dorado Springs Police Department assisted by Cedar County Sheriff’s Deputies served a search warrant at 500 South Jackson, after receiving information concerning a fugitive from justice. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Earl L. Pinkman, 41, of El Dorado Springs, for St. Clair County Warrant, charging him with Possession of Amphetamine with a $2500.00 cash bond, Bates County Warrants, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Resisting Officer with a $5000.00 cash bond, Failure to Appear on the original charge of traffic offense with a $300.00 bond, Failure to Appear on the original charge of traffic offense with a $500.00 bond, Failure to Appear on the original charge of Resisting Officer with a $2500.00 bond, and Failure to Appear on the original charge of traffic offense with a $200.00 bond. He was transferred to the St Clair County Sheriff’s Office pending court appearances and bond. Also arrested was Atheana M Vance, 27, of El Dorado Springs, for a Nevada Municipal Court Warrant charging her with Failure to Appear on the original charge of shoplifting with a $214.00 bond. She was released on her recognizance pending a court appearance.

On March 2, 2022, officers arrested, Deborah Stockdall, 60, of El Dorado Springs, a Cedar County Warrant, charging her with Passing Bad Checks with a $700,00 cash bond, two St. Clair County Warrants for Insufficient Funds Checks with $500.00 and $1500.00 bonds, and a Henry County charging her with Insufficient Funds Check with a $1000.00 bond. She was released on bond pending court appearances.

On March 3, 2022, officers arrested Kristina L. Spencer, 37, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Warrant, charging her with a Traffic Violation with a $250.00 cash bond. She was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending a court appearance.

On March 3, 2022, officers responded to 401 East McCray concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a green hand dolly. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On March 3, 2022, officers responded to the 200 block of East U.S. 54 Highway concerning a report of an impaired driver. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Brandi N. Deckard, 32, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Driving While Intoxicated. She was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On March 5, 2022, officers arrested Shawnda R. Pulley, 39, of El Dorado Springs, for a Nevada Municipal Court Warrant, charging her with Failure to Appear on the original charge of Trespass. She was released on recognizance pending a court appearance.

On March 6, 2022, officers responded to 113 West Cruce concerning a larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a pink and purple 20 inch Next bicycle. A report taken and he investigation continues.

The El Dorado Springs Police Department will participate in the State Wide Tornado Drill March 8, 2022 at 10:00 AM, by sounding storm warning siren and siren system test of all siren warning.
