Law enforcement activities
The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 139 requests for assistance this past week, June 6-12. The requests were as follows:
Ambulance Assists 15, Animal Control 11, Assist Other Agencies 30, All Escorts 1, Nuisance 11, All Other Requests for Assistance 71, Summons 2.

Found Property is available for viewing, Monday through Saturday, by appointment only. A detailed description of the property you’re wishing to view must be specified when making the appointment. Found Property is subject to disposal after 90 days based on value of the property if unclaimed by owner.

Police Report
On June 8, 2022, officers responded to 200 McCrary Circle, apartment 40, concerning a larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a cell phone. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On June 9, 2022, officers responded to 317 West Spring concerning an assault. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On June 9, 2022, officers arrested Thomas R. Hill, 46, of El Dorado Springs, for a Pleasant Hill Municipal Warrant, charging him with Fail to Appear for Obstruction, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Dangerous Drugs with a $750.00 cash bond. He was released on his own recognizance pending a court appearance.

On June 12, 2022, officers responded to 200 McCrary Circle, apartment 40, concerning an assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Larry G. Fenton, 57, of El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County Warrant, charging him with Fail to Appear on the original charges of Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Making a False Declaration with a $150.00 cash bond. He was transferred to the Vernon County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On June 12, 2022, officers responded to 500 East Fields, Trailer 10, concerning an assault with a knife. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.
