The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 101 requests for assistance this past week, July 11-17. The requests were as follows:
Ambulance Assists 10, Animal Control 13, Assist Other Agencies 17, All Escorts 0, Nuisance 10, All Other Requests for Assistance 63, Summons 7.

Found Property is subject to disposal after 90 days based on value of the property if unclaimed by owner.

Police Report
On July 11, 2022, officers responded to 609 South St James for a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a Cricket cell phone. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On July 11, 2022, officers arrested Matthew J. Richards, 31, of El Dorado Springs for an active El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant charging him with Speeding with a bond of $102.00 cash or surety. He was released on his own recognizance pending a court appearance.

On July 11, 2022, officers responded to 227 West US Highway 54 concerning a reported shoplifting. The investigation revealed the theft of two six packs of Red’s Apple Ale. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On July 12, 2022, officers arrested Travis M. Butler, 42, of Pleasant Valley, charging him with Driving While Suspended. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On July 13, 2022, officers arrested Rachel R. Ohman, 52, of El Dorado Springs, for an active El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant charging her with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, with a bond of $181.50 cash or surety. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On July 13, 2022, officers arrested Krista S. Jarvis, 34, of El Dorado Springs , for an active El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant charging her with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with a bond of $181.50 cash or surety. She was released on her own recognizance pending a court appearance.

On July 14, 2022, officers arrested Krista S. Jarvis, 34, of El Dorado Springs , for an active Nevada Municipal warrant charging her with Failure to Appear with the original offense listed at traffic. She was released on her own recognizance pending a court appearance.

On July 14, 2022, officers responded to 515 East Fields concerning a larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of commercial grade metal pallet racks. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On July 16, 2022 officers arrested Cassandra Robison, 32, for an active El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant charging her with Failure to Appear with the original charges of Animal License required and Animal at Large with a bond of $101.00 cash or surety bond, and a Nevada Municipal warrant charging her with Failure to Appear with the original charge of Shoplifting with a $214.00 Cash only bond.

On July 17, 2022, officers responded to the 400 block of West Olive concerning a reported Assault. Officers located the victim with the assistance of the El Dorado Springs Fire Department, Cedar County Sheriff and St. Clair County Sheriff Offices. The victim was transported from the scene by ambulance for treatment. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On July 17, 2022 officers responded to 608 South Kirkpatrick Street concerning a larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of two lawn mowers and a weed eater. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On July 17, 2022, officers responded to 227 West US 54 Highway concerning a reported shoplifting. The investigation revealed in the theft of two 12 packs of Twisted Tea. A report taken and the investigation continues.
