Law enforcement activities
The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 107 requests for assistance this past week, Aug. 15-21. The requests were as follows:
Ambulance Assists 12, Animal Control 12, Assist Other Agencies 12, All Escorts 1, Nuisance 0, All Other Requests for Assistance 70, Summons 11.

Found Property is available for viewing, Monday through Saturday, by appointment only. A detailed description of the property you’re wishing to view must be specified when making the appointment. Found Property is subject to disposal after 90 days based on value of the property if unclaimed by owner.

Police Report
On August 16, 2022 officers arrested Shawnda R. Pulley, 40, of El Dorado Springs for an active Vernon County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Stealing with a CAPIAS bond. She was transported to Vernon County.

On August 16, 2022 officers responded to the station in reference to a forgery. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

On August 17, 2022, officers responded to 511 South Main in reference to a larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a Flat Screen Television, Totes with Clothing, American Flag, Jewelry Box, Electric Blanket and a Nintendo Wii. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Kenneth W. Johnson, 43, of EL Dorado Springs charging him with Stealing and Trespassing. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On August 17, 2022, officers responded to 504 East Fields Trailer# D6 for a report of Trespassing. The investigation led to the arrest of Erin Voegele, 37, of El Dorado Springs, for Trespassing 1st degree. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On August 18, 2022, officers arrested Shawn D. Janes, 40, of El Dorado Springs for an active Greene County warrant for Resisting Arrest and Dangerous Drugs with a bond totaling $2,000.00 cash only. He was released to Cedar County pending extradition to Greene County.

On August 19, 2022, officers responded to 400 block of North Main concerning a male subject with active warrants. Officers arrested Rhett A. Lunsford, 27, of El Dorado Springs for Failure to Appear on the Original charge of Assault, Peace Disturbance and Ordinance Violation with a bond totaling $445.00 cash or surety. He was released on his own recognizance pending a court appearance.

On August 20, 2022, officers responded to 1010 South Main concerning a reported Domestic Assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Alicia D. Janes, 45, of El Dorado Springs charging her with Domestic Assault 3rd degree, Armed Criminal Action, Domestic Assault 4th degree, Resisting Arrest and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On August 21, 2022, officers responded to 1105 South Main in reference to a Violation of Ex-Parte. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Alicia D. Janes, 45, of El Dorado Springs charging her with Violation of Ex Parte Order. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.
