The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 150 requests for assistance this past week, Aug. 29-Sept. 4. The requests were as follows:
Ambulance Assists 17, Animal Control 11, Assist Other Agencies 41, All Escorts 0, Nuisance 6, All Other Requests for Assistance 75, Summons 7.

Police Report
On August 29, 2022, officers responded to 229 West Poplar Street concerning a Domestic Assault. A suspect identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

On August 30, 2022, officers responded to 901 South Jackson concerning a larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a black backpack with green zippers containing personal documents. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On August 31, 2022, officers responded to 1109 South Main, Missouri Department of Conservation Office, concerning property damage. The investigation revealed a broken window. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On September 1, 2022, officers arrested Tanner G. Daniel, 20, of Nevada, Missouri, for the probable cause of Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On September 1, 2022, officers responded to 400 East Hospital Road concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of US Currency. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On September 2, 2022, officers responded to 423 South Main concerning an assault. Suspects have been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

On September 3, 2022 officers arrested Joseph I. Wyatt, 37, of El Dorado Springs, for El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrants, charging him with for Failure to Appear on the original charges of Not Maintaining Financial Responsibility, Expired Plates, Driving While Revoked/Suspended, Peace Disturbance, Shoplifting, Trespassing with a $1176.00 bond and a Cedar County Warrant, charging him with Failure to Appear on the original charges of Obstruction with a $500.00 cash bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and court appearances.

On September 2, 2022, officers responded to 200 North Jackson concerning a Domestic Assault involving a weapon. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Robert J. Chastain, 28, of El Dorado Springs, and Tabitha L. Norval, 30, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. They were released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On September 6, 2022, officers responded to 211 West Hightower for a reported utility tampering. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Mashell L. Queen, 32, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Tampering with Utility and Larceny. She was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

On September 6, 2022, officers responded to 312 East US 54 Highway concerning property damage. The investigation revealed the damage of a window. The investigation resulted in the arrest of William B. Britton, 48, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Property Damage. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On September 6, 2022, officers arrested Charity R Cornine King, 23, of El Dorado Springs, for a Municipal Court Bench Warrant charging her with Contempt of Court with three days in jail.

On September 8, 2022, officers responded to 1215 South First Street concerning a leaving the scene of an accident. The investigation revealed the theft of a red 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 from the driveway of 229 West Pine Street. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On September 8, 2022, officers of the El Dorado Springs Police Department assisted by the Cedar County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at 109 North Kirkpatrick, after receiving information concerning persons with active warrants The investigation resulted in the arrest of Jarret, R. Major, 33, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

On September 9, 2022, officers arrested Kenneth G. Worthington, 69, of El Dorado Springs, for a Polk County Warrant charging him with Failure to Appear for a Non-Moving Traffic Violation with a $50.00 cash bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

On September 10, 2022, officers responded to 102 Long Lane concerning a peace disturbance involving a weapon. Suspects have been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.
