EL DORADO SPRINGS POLICE REPORT

In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Dec 20 – Officers responded to 1307 South  32 Hwy, Shopko, concerning a reported larceny (shoplifting). Investigation revealed the theft of women’s under garments, corks and magnets and a BB pistol. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Steven A. Caudill, 27, El Dorado Springs, charging him with stealing. He was released on summons pending court appearance. Also arrested was Jessica A. Haslock, 28, Stockton, for a Polk County Warrant, charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of stealing with a bond of $100 cash. She was transferred to Polk County jail pending bond and court appearance.

Officers responded to 304 South Kirkpatrick concerning a reported assault. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Bobbi M Mayer, 47, El Dorado Springs, charging her with assault, property damage and first degree trespassing. She was released on summonses pending court appearance.

Arrest: Thomas E Cheek, 42,  El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant charging him with probation violation with a $5,000 bond. He was released on bond pending court appearance.

Dec 21 – Arrests: Erin M Jones, 35, El Dorado Springs, for a Laclede County warrant charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of failure to Stop at a stop sign with a $1,000 bond. She was released on bond pending  court appearance.

Landon J Daniel, 28, El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant charging him with probation violation on the original charge of possession of controlled substance with a $5,000 bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearance.

Dec 22 – Arrests: Braeden Keightley, 18,El Dorado Springs, charging him with minor in possession of alcoholic beverages. He was released on summons pending ourt appearance.

Ryan L Lutes, 18, El Dorado Springs, charging him with minor in possession of alcoholic beverages and defective equipment. He was released on summonses pending court appearance.

Steven W Whitesell, 36, El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of no insurance with a $500 cash only bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail.

Dec 23 – Officers responded to 100 South Main, Spring Park, concerning a reported burglary. Investigation revealed the theft of a Brad nailer, Crown molding nailer, Saw-Zaw, four cordless drills, three battery packs, hammer drill, three tall thin propane bottles, propane torch, weed eater and leaf blower. Investigation continues.

Officers responded to 504 East Fields Street concerning a reported trespassing. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Tyler P Poore, 33,  El Dorado Springs, charging him with trespassing. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 200 South Main, El Dorado Mexican Cantina, concerning a reported burglary. Investigation revealed the theft of $2,200 in cash, lap top computer and five bottles of whiskey. Investigation continues.

Dec 25 – Officers responded to 500 South Jackson concerning a reported peace disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Sharla D Goff, 45, El Dorado Springs, for an active Nodaway County warrant charging her with probation violation on the original charge of possess of solvents, with no bond.
