In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Jan 9 – Arrests: Michael E Maness, 53, El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charges of possession of marijuana, driving while Suspended and failure to wear a seat belt with no bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending court appearance.
Michael W Hall, 30, Sheldon, for Vernon County warrant charging him with forgery with a bond of $1,000.00. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.
Jan 10 – Arrests:Harley D. Perry, 36, of El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County Warrant, charging him with Possession of Controlled Substance with a bond of $10,000. He was transferred to the Vernon County jail pending bond and court appearance.
Steven S Due, 36, El Dorado Springs, for an active Cedar County warrant charging him with 1st degree burglary, 3rd degree domestic assault and armed criminal action with a $50,000 bond. He was released on bond pending court appearance.
Officers responded to 406 South Allison Rd concerning a reported disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrests of Rebecca R Franklin, 24, and Jonathan L Houdeshell, 26, El Dorado Springs, charging them with private peace disturbance by fighting. They were released on summonses pending court appearance.
Jan 13 – Officers responded to 312 West 54 Hwy, Woods Supermarket, concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of Vodka. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Adam W Prewitt, 19, of El Dorado Springs, for stealing. He was released on summons pending court appearance.
