The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 88 requests for assistance this past week, Oct 30-Nov. 5. The requests were as follows:
Ambulance Assists 5, Animal Control 14, Assist Other Agencies 12, All Escorts 1, Nuisance 0, All Other Requests for Assistance 56, Summons 7.

Found Property is available for viewing, Monday through Saturday, by appointment only. A detailed description of the property you’re wishing to view must be specified when making the appointment. Found Property is subject to disposal after 90 days based on value of the property if unclaimed by owner.
Police Report
On October 30, 2023, officers responded to a delayed report of larceny at 120 Winner Road. The investigation revealed the theft of a yard ornament. A report taken and the investigation continues.
On October 31, 2023, officers responded to 509 South Forest concerning a larceny. The investigation revealed an extension cord connected to a residence without permission. A report taken and the investigation continues.
On November 2, 2023, officers responded to 700 South Park, apartment 2, concerning a Domestic Disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Dusty J. Lavallee, 24, El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of Assault. He was released with summons pending a court appearance.
On November 3, 2023, officers responded to 204 1/2 West Joe Davis Street concerning stealing. The investigation revealed the theft of a lottery ticket. A report taken and the investigation continues.
On November 3, 2023, officers responded to 227 West U.S. 54 Highway, Pete’s, concerning Peace Disturbance by Fighting. A report taken and the investigation continues.
On November 4, 2023, officers arrested Haiden M. Overton, 22, El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County Warrant, charging him with Aggravated Assault with a $500.00 cash bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.
On November 4, 2023, officers responded to the station concerning a larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of $300.00 cash and $300.00 from an EBT card. A suspect has been identified, report taken and the investigation continues.
