In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Feb 13 – Officers responded to 119 West Broadway concerning a reported domestic assault. Suspect  identified and investigation continuing.

Officers responded to 313 South Forrest concerning a reported larceny.  Investigation revealed the theft of a tablet, clothing, medications, debit card, birth certificates and social security card. Investigation continuing.

Feb 14 – Arrest: Brandee G Lawson, 39, El Dorado Springs, for disorderly conduct in City parks.  He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Feb 15 – Officers responded to 107 East Fields, Wee Care Day Care, concerning a reported burglary. Investigation revealed the theft of a 37 inch LCD HD Television. Investigation is continuing.

Feb 16 – Arrest: James C Duncan, 32, El Dorado Springs for four active warrants, Cedar County warrant for failure to appear to answer to burglary 2nd degree and theft over $500 a class C Felony with no bond,  Cedar County warrant for failure to appear to answer to fugitive from out of state an unclassified felony with a bond of $5,000, Polk County warrant for failure to appear to answer to theft class A misdemeanor with a bond of $1,000, and El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant for failure to appear to answer to possession of drug paraphernalia with a bond of $225.50. He was extradited to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond or court appearances.

Feb 16 – arrest: David R Burns, 37, El Dorado Springs, for third degree assault and endanger the welfare of a child. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Feb 18 – Officers responded to 135 West Spring concerning a reported assault. Suspect identified and investigation continuing.

Officers responded to 511 South Park concerning a reported larceny.  Investigation revealed the theft of medications and cash. Investigation  continuing.

Arrest: Fredrick M Figolah, 29,  El Dorado Springs, for an active State of Wyoming felony warrant, on the original charges of unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of strangulation of a household member with no bond. He was extradited to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending extradition.
