On 10-14-2024, Officers along with Code Enforcement executed a search warrant to abate the residence at 409 S Forrest St.

On 10-18-2024, Code Enforcement posted a residence in the 400 block of South Vernon for nuisance/disabled vehicle.

On 10-18-2024, Code Enforcement posted a residence in the 800 block of South Main St for nuisance junk.

On 10-18-2024, El Dorado Springs Officers, Cedar County Sheriff’s Office, and Jasper County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 200 block of North Grand St. Matthew Charles was taken into custody and a has been charged with 6 counts of possession of Child Pornography with a $150,000 cash only bond.

On 10-18-2024, Officers responded to a runaway juvenile in the 900 block of South Grand St.
