In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

March 20 – Arrests: Martin P. McGee, 37, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging him failure to appear on the original charge of livestock running at large with a $999.50 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Gwendolyn J. Hamilton, 31, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant, charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, with a $150 bond.  She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 703 South Jackson concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of one trampoline leg, a pink and purple mongoose bike, a little red wagon and two propane tanks. A report taken and the investigation continues.

March 21 – Officers responded to 904 South Grand concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a black adult size mongoose element mountain bike. A report was taken and the investigation continues.

Arrests: Landon J. Daniel, 28, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant, charging him with failure to appear with the original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia with a $1,000 cash only bond.  He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

John D. Donahue, 32, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging him with failure to appear on the original charges of resisting arrest, assault on law enforcement officer, and oossession of drug paraphernalia with a $952.50 cash bond. He was transferred to the Vernon County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

John R. Herndon, Jr, 19, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with possession of amphetamine drug paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and failure to register a motor vehicle. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 313 South Forrest concerning a reported peace disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Chayne R. Bittner, 41, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of driving while suspended with a $230.50 bond. Bittner was transferred to Vernon County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

March 22 – Arrest: Jamie L. Swager, 39, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant, charging her with probation vciolation on the original charge of distributing a controlled substance near a School with no bond and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending a court appearance.

March 23 – Officers responded to 910 South Grand concerning a reported trespassing. The investigation resulted in the arrests of Donavon M. Anderson, 17, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with trespassing first degree and Stephen L. Cox, 17, of El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County warrant, charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of stealing less than $150 with a $800 cash bond, first degree trespassing and possession of drug paraphernalia. Anderson was released on summons and Cox was transferred to the Vernon Count jail pending bond and a court appearance.

Officers responded to 309 West Lafayette concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of two bicycles.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

Arrests: Robert J. Halcon, 21, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia with a $225.50 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Joshiah J. Ruston, 35, of El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County warrant, charging him with tampering with motor vehicle with a $5,000 bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

March 24 – Arrests: Juliette E. Smith, 47, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with driving while revoked. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Luis A. Demelo, 50, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with fail to register a motor vehicle and no valid license. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

March 25 – Officers responded to 410 East Hwy 54, Mc Donald’s, concerning a reported assault. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to 110 East Poplar concerning a reported domestic assault. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.
