April 10 – Officers responded to 724 East 54 HWy concerning a reported forgery.  A suspect had been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Arrest: Patrick L. Decker, 27, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging him with wrong plates with a $95.50 bond.  He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

April 11 – Arrests: Jesus J. Selfridge, 29, of Butler, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant charging him with failure to appear per court order on the original charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia with a $1 530 bond. He was released after a court appearance.

Officers responded to 222 West Hickory concerning a reported domestic assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Korey L. Wegner, 30, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of domestic assault third degree Class E felony.  Officer completed a probable cause statement for the charge. The Cedar County Prosecutor deferred the charges to Municipal Court.  Wegner was released on summons pending a Municipal Court appearance.

Martin P. McGee, 37, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging him with failure to appear per court order with the original charge of livestock at large with a $999.50 cash only bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending a court appearance. 

April 14 – Arrest: Roni R. Scott, 32, of El Dorado Springs, for an active parole violation warrant, on the original charge of voluntary manslaughter and possession of a controlled substance, Vernon County warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of fraud with a $838.20 cash only bond, and El Dorado Springs Municipal Court warrant, charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of driving while revoked with a $415.50 bond. She was transferred to the Vernon County jail pending bond and court appearances.

April 15 – Officers responded to 805 South Kirkpatrick concerning a reported peace disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Robert L. Ellifrits Jr, 52, and Thelma A. Ellifrits, 42, of El Dorado Springs, charging them with peace disturbance. They were released on summonses pending a court appearance.

April 16 – Officers responded to 121 West Fields, concerning a reported subject brandishing a weapon. A suspect has been identified, report taken and the investigation continues.
