April 18 – Arrest: John J. Cox, 35, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County Warrant, charging him with domestic assault 2nd degree with a $10,000 cash only bond, and El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging him with failure to appear per court order on the original charge of assault, trespass and disturbance of the peace with a $548 bond.  He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearances.

April 19 – Officers responded to 1104 South Jackson concerning a report of child endangerment. While investigating the alleged allegations, officers served a search warrant at the location. Officers located a stolen vehicle, illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. The investigation resulted in the arrest of James Willmore, 37, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and a Cedar County warrant, charging him with possession of a controlled substance and driving while suspended or revoked with a $15,000 bond. Also arrested was Heather Willmore, for the probable cause of felony tampering with a motor vehicle.  Officers completed probable cause statements for these charges. Officers received a Cedar County warrant, charging James Willmore with possession of a controlled substance with no bond. James Willmore was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearance.  Officers were informed to release Heather Willmore on a summons per Associate Court Judge.  Heather Willmore was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 426 West Martin concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a ball hitch and a set of aluminum tri-fold ramps. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to 111 West Olive concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a Schwin Hollywood bicycle. A report taken and the investigation continues.

April 20 – Officers responded to 204 North Main, Higgins Propane, concerning the passing of a counterfeit $50 bill.  The investigation revealed Motion Picture money was passed as real US currency. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Joseph M. Burnett, 39, of El Dorado Springs, for counterfeiting, larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 500 East Fields Street, Trailer #24A, to serve a search warrant, after receiving information of illegal drug activity. Officers located illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. Suspects have been identified and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to 1301 Greenridge Road concerning a suspicious person. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Waylen D. Poore, 36, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana and resisting arrest/obstruction. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to the 300 block of South Park concerning a reported peace disturbance. Juvenile suspects were identified and referred to the Juvenile Office.

Officers responded to 200 block of East Spring concerning a report of larceny from a storage unit. The investigation revealed the theft of a bicycle. A report taken and investigation continues.

Officers responded to 119 West Fields concerning a report of peace disturbance. A report taken and investigation continues.   

Officers responded to 410 East 54 Hiwy, McDonald’s, concerning a reported assault. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Donavon M. Anderson, 17, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of third degree assault. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

April 21 – Officers responded to the 400 block of East Springs  concerning a report of juveniles fighting in the alley. The investigation resulted in a juvenile suspect identified and referred to the Juvenile Office and Stephen Cox, 17, of El Dorado Springs, received a Municipal Court summons charging him with peace disturbance by fighting. The investigation continues.

Officers responded to 311 East 54 Hwy, concerning a domestic disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Sarah E. Woodall, 26, of El Dorado Springs, charging her with third degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child. She was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

April 22 – Officers responded to 312 West 54 Hwy, concerning a reported assault and property damage.  The investigation resulted in the arrest of Robert L. Ellifrits Jr., 52, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with leaving the scene of an accident and assault. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Arrest: Jonathon C. Mart, 17, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with minor in possession of alcoholic beverages. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

April 23 – Officers responded to the 300 block of South Grand  concerning a reported disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrested Victoria L. Daley, 53, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of possession of marijuana and unlawful use of a weapon. Officer completed a probable cause statement for these charges.  Daley was held pending a warrant.
