EL DORADO SPRINGS POLICE REPORT

In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Aug 7 – Arrest: Jessie L. Ewing, age 36, of El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant for fail to appear with the original charges of tampering With a motor vehicle, aggravated stalking, property damage 1st degree, knowingly burning or exploding, tampering with physical evidence and 10 counts of violation of a order of protection with no bond. He was transported to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending a court appearance.

Aug 8 – Arrests: Jennifer J. Garrett, age 31, of El Dorado Springs, for an active El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging her with fail to appear with the original charges of disturbance of the peace and possession of drugs with a cash or surety bond of $ 503. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Richard R. Harper, age 48, of Joplin, for a Jasper County probation violation warrant on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance with a cash or surety bond of $25,000. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Sebastien H. Kelso, age 25, at El Dorado Springs Municipal Court for contempt of court with a five day hold order.  Kelso was transported to the Cedar County Sheriff’s office for holding.

Officers responded to 107 East Lafayette concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a red and silver boy’s Huffy bicycle, a report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

Aug 9 – Officers responded to 100 East Hwy 54, Casey’s General Store, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of $76.82 worth of fuel, a report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

Arrests: David E. Fowler, age 25, of El Dorado Springs, for an active Cedar County warrant charging him with second degree domestic assault and armed criminal action with a cash or surety bond of $5,000. He was extradited to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond or a court appearance.

Arrest: William A. Hunt, age 44, of El Dorado Springs, for an active St. Clair County warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of no seatbelt with a $10 cash only bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Aug 10 – Officers responded to 302 A South Kirkpatrick concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of US currency, a suspect has been identified, a report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

Aug 10 – Arrest: Timothy J. Henderson, age 57, of El Dorado Springs, for assault, obstruction, disorderly conduct in the City Park, and 12 hour protective custody. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Aug 11- Arrest: Kendall R. Gibbs, age 44, of Sheldon for peace disturbance by fighting and 12 hour protective custody. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.
