In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Aug 14 – Officers responded to 401 East Fields concerning a reported larceny.  The investigation revealed the theft of an “Iron Horse” air compressor with a 1.5 horse power motor.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

Arrest: Darion M. Hammond, 22, of El Dorado Springs, for a Barton County warrant charging her with failure to appear on the original charge of a moving traffic violation with a $89 cash bond. She was transferred to the Barton County jail pending bond and court appearance.

Aug 15 – Arrests: Roy D. Hall, 41, of El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County warrant charging him with failure to appear on an original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia with a $700 cash bond. He was transferred to the Vernon County jail pending bond and court appearance.

Paul E. Knapp, 60, of El Dorado Springs,  for a Cedar County warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of fail to display plates with a $150 cash bond. He was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 409 South Forrest concerning a reported assault. A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Aug 16 – Officers responded to 300 East Thompson concerning a reported peace disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Charles S. Green, 39, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with peace disturbance. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Arrest: Katherine D. Applebee, 40, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging her with fail to appear per court order on the original charge of failed to answer a subpoena and driving while Suspended with a $691 bond. She was released on her own recognizance pending a court appearance.

Aug 17 – Officers responded to the 800 block of East Patricia concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of an 18 volt Dewalt Impact drill,  20 volt Dewalt radio, Apple Six cell phone, plastic black box which contained several SD cards, set of keys, black lock box which contained a social security card, and pocket watch.  A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Officers responded to 312 West  54 Hwy, Woods Supermarket, concerning a reported shoplifting.  The investigation revealed the theft of an alcoholic beverage. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Tyler M. Wilkins, 26, of El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of larceny.  The continued investigation revealed that Wilkins had been released from custody on his own recognizance for a felony charge 24 hours prior to this arrest.  Officers complete a probable cause statement for misdemeanor charge.  Officers received a Cedar County warrant charging him with Stealing less than $150 a class D misdemeanor with a $1,000 cash bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and a court appearance.

Aug 18 – Arrests: Jason W. Holloway JR, 20, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant for fail to appear per court order on the original charge of possession of drug paraphernalia with a $251 bond and a Cedar County warrant for fail to appear with a bond of $350 cash. He was transferred to Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearances.

Jada  Dickson, 34, of El Dorado Springs,  for a Cedar County warrant charging her with driving while revoked, Class E felony and no seat belt with a bond of $2,000. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 100 East 54 Hwy, Casey’s General Store, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of $10 worth of fuel.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

Aug 19 – Officers responded to the 100 block of West Broadway concerning a report of a disturbance by fighting. The investigation resulted in the arrests of J. Cox, 35, and Gina M. Riboni, 44, of El Dorado Springs, charging them with peace disturbance. They were released on summonses pending court appearances.

Aug 20 – Officers responded to 901 South Jackson concerning a reported assault.  A suspect has been identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.
