In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Sept 26 – ArrestS: Juliette E. Smith, age 47, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal Warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of driving while revoked, with a bond of $435. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Rachel E. Trammel, age 27, of Stockton, for two Cedar County warrants for failure to appear on the original charge of stolen property with no bond and for failure to appear on the original charge of burglary also with no bond. She was transferred to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending a court appearance.

William S. Cain, age 44, of El Dorado Springs, for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant for failure to appear. He was released after a court appearance.

Officers responded to 123 West 54 Hwy, Meeks, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a DeWalt drill. A suspect has been identified, a report was taken and investigation is continuing.

Sept 27 – Arrest; Patrick L. Decker, age 28, of El Dorado Springs, for an active Cedar County warrant for domestic assault 2nd degree with a $5,000 cash or surety bond. He was transferred to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending a court appearance.

Officers responded to 301 West Joe Davis concerning a reported assault. A suspect has been identified, a report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

Sept 28 – Officers responded to the 300 block of South Park concerning a reported assault. A suspect has been identified, a report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

Sept 29 – Officers responded to 400 South Park concerning a reported assault. Suspects have been identified, a report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

Arrests:  Diamond L. Marshall, age 19, of El Dorado Springs for an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant for failure to appear with the original charge of dog at large.  Marshall was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Carmen G. Tucker, age 31, of El Dorado Springs, for assault. She was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Septr 30 – Officers responded to 200 West McCrary Circle, No 8, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a bicycle, a report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

Arrest: Derek G. Masters, age 18, of El Dorado Springs for disorderly conduct in the City Park. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Oct 1- Arrest: Gale E. Holeman, age 62, of El Dorado Springs after a vehicle pursuit where Holeman crashed his vehicle.  Holeman was transported to Cedar County Memorial Hospital for minor injuries sustained in the crash.  He was issued citations for failed to yield to an emergency vehicle, operated a motor vehicle without a valid license, careless and reckless driving, three citations for failed to Stop of a stop sign and operated a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Holeman was released to hospital staff for treatment.

Officers responded to 216 West Twyman, Rods and Rides, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a red and black 4 x 8 tilt bed trailer, two four foot tall wooden frog statues. A report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

Arrest: Joshua Thorn, age 19, Amanda Meeker, age 17, and Nicolas Moss, age 21, at 110 South Jackson , El Dorado Spring Municipal Pool.  Thorn was charged with drinking in public and minor in possession of alcohol. Meeker was charged minor in possession of alcohol.  Moss was charged with drinking in public.  All were released on citation pending a court appearance.
