In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

July 11 – Officers responded to 227 West  Hwy 54, Pete’s Convenience Store, concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of $10 of fuel. A Investigation continues.

July 12 – Arrest: Brian L. Queen, 45, Humansville, for two Cedar County warrants charging him with probation violation with no bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail.

Officers responded to 504 East Fields, D16, concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of medications. Investigation continues.

Officers responded to 107 West Lafayette concerning a domestic disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Lawrence L. Hill, 50, El Dorado Springs for domestic assault. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Officers of the El Dorado Springs Police Department served a search warrant at 400 South Park Street, after receiving information of illegal drug activity at the location. Officers located illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Donna L. Pitts, 50, El Dorado Springs, for an active El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant charging her with failure to appear on the original charges of DWI and peace disturbance with a bond of $1,095.50 and a Cedar County warrant, charging her with probation violation on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance with no bond. She was transferred to the Cedar County jail. Also arrested was Robin Bjorlorkken, 52,  El Dorado Springs, for an active Vernon County warrant charging her with probation violation on the original charge of possession of a controlled substance with no bond. She was transferred to the Vernon County jail.  Investigation continuing and additional charges are expected.

July 13 – Officers responded to 300 East Gentry concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a pink Huffy bicycle and a red Mongoose bicycle.  Investigation continues.

July 14 – Officers responded to 210 West Joe Davis concerning a reported domestic disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrest of John D. Donahue Jr, 32, El Dorado Springs, charging him with assault. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Arrest: Robby L. Walker, 33,  El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant charging him with a Class D felony, resisting arrest, Class a misdemeanor tampering with physical evidence, misdemeanor driving without a license, misdemeanor failure to register motor vehicle, all with a $50,000 bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearance.

July 15 – Arrest: Thomas G. Iseman, Jr, 25, El Dorado Springs, for an active Cedar County warrant, charging him with child molestation first degree with a $50,000 bond. He was transported to the Cedar County jail pending bond and  court appearance.

Officers responded to 216 South Park concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a Springfield XD2, 9mm semiautomatic handgun. Suspects have been identified. Investigation continues.

Officers responded to 217 West Joe Davis concerning a reported assault. Juvenile suspect has been identified and referred to the juvenile office.

July 16 – Arrest: Lee G. Queen, 19, Stockton, charging him with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended and domestic assault. He was released on summonses pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 1209 South First concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of two driveway reflectors.  Investigation continues.

Officers responded to 600 South Kirkpatrick concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a black Mongoose bicycle. Suspect has been identified. Investigation continues.

Officers responded to 1604 South Main concerning a reported trespassing and disturbance. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Doreen Cooper, 59, El Dorado Springs, charging her with assault. She was released on summons pending court appearance.
