In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Oct 10 – Arrest: Christina M. Shadden, age 35, of El Dorado Springs, for three active Cass County warrants, charging her with failed to appear to answer to failed to drive on right half of the roadway, open container and gave false information to an officer.  All the warrants had a bond of $225 cash only for a total bond of $675 cash only. She was released on bond pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 312 West  54 Hwy, Woods Supermarket, concerning a reported larceny. A report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

Officers responded to 200 East 54 Hwy, Wilkinson’s Pharmacy, concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of medications, a pink scarf and a pink key chain, a suspect has been identified, a report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

Officers responded to 120 West Broadway concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of license plate, a report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

Oct 11 – Officers responded to 302A South Kirkpatrick Street concerning a reported larceny. A report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

Officers responded to 107 West Broadway concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of two CD cases with approximately 200 classic rock CD’s in each one, a red Craftsman tool box with various types of tools, one regular sized spare tire and one doughnut spare tire, a 13×13 canopy, a hammock and a red folding lawn chair, a report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

Oct 12 – Officers responded to 511 East Fields concerning a reported burglary. The investigation revealed the theft of  a Hitachi sawzall, a Dewalt cordless drill and charger, a Porter Cable grinder, buffer and sander, a 1/2 drive Dewalt drill, a Craftsman 1/2 drive impact drill and several ratchets, a report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

Oct 13 – officers responded to 122 West Pine concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a black 24” girl’s multi speed bicycle, a report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

Officers responded to 1108 South Jackson concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a green poly cart trash receptacle, a report was taken and the investigation is continuing.

Arrest: Charles S. Green, age 39, of El Dorado Springs for two Vernon County warrants for probation violation with the original charge of possession of controlled substance and for failure to obey judge’s order with the original charge of unlawful possession of a firearm, both warrants had a CAPIAS bond. He was transferred to Vernon County Sheriff’s office pending court appearances.

Oct 14 – Arrests: Dawn A. Wright, age 48, of Mt. Pleasant, IA, for driving while intoxicated and careless and reckless driving. She was released on bond pending a court appearance.

Damien L. Harder, age 21, of Jerico Springs, for an active Cedar County warrant, for failure to appear on an original charge of third degree domestic assault with a cash only bond of $350. He was transferred to Cedar County Sheriff’s office pending bond or a court appearance.

Oct 15 – Officers responded to 125 West Hickory concerning a reported larceny. The investigation revealed the theft of a black Mercury 2.5 HP outboard 4 stroke boat motor, and a white and black Minn Kota 35 lb thrust trolling motor, a report was taken and the investigation is continuing.
