In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Aug 1 – Arrest: Tammy M. Gibbs, 35, El Dorado Springs, charging her with driving while revoked and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on summonses pending pcourt appearance.

Aug 2 – Arrest: Kevin A. Hill, 29, El Dorado Springs, for an active Vernon County warrant charging him with probation violation on the original charge of failure to register as a sex offender with no bond. He was transported to Vernon County Sheriff’s office pending ocourt appearance.

Officers responded to 901 South Jackson concerning a reported domestic assault. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Desara D. Stewart, 34, El Dorado Springs, charging her with possession of pess than 35 grams of marijuana. She was released on summons pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 410 East 54 Hwy concerning a reported assault. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Cody R. Bird, 22, El Dorado Springs, for assault. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Aug 3 – Arrested Bryan R. Shrout, 49, El Dorado Springs, for a Cedar County warrant charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of order of protection violation with a $500 bond.  He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and  court appearance.

Officers responded to 403 East Fields, Apt A, concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of two concrete decorative lions. Investigation continues.

Officers responded to 108 West Marshall concerning a reported larceny. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Jessie W. Dunn, 22, El Dorado Springs, for Cedar County warrant charging him with forgery with a $1,500 cash bond and a Nevada Municipal warrant charging him with failure to appear on an original charge of a non-moving traffic violation with a $774 cash bond. He was also charged with larceny. He was transferred to the Vernon County jail pending bonds or court appearances.

Officers responded to 403 South Ohio, Apt 5, concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of medications. Suspect has been identified and investigation continues.

Officers responded to 1301 East Industrial Parkway, Southwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center, concerning a reported assault. Suspect has been identified and investigation continues.

Aug 3 – Officers responded to 105 South Forrest concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of a two cup automatic coffee maker and a DVD player.  Suspect has been identified and investigation continues.

Aug 4 – Officers responded to 115 North Main, Vapaholics, in reference to a burglary. investigation revealed the theft of seven vaporizers and five bottles of liquid flavoring. Suspects have been identified and investigation continues.

Officers responded to110 West Walnut concerning a reported peace disturbance by fighting. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Robert L. Ellifrits, Jr, 51, El Dorado Springs, charging him with assault. He was released on summons pending court appearance.

Officers responded to the 900 block of South Main concerning a reported assault. Suspect has been identified and investigation continues.

Officers responded to 200 West McCrary Circle, Apt 26, concerning a reported larceny. Investigation revealed the theft of medications.  Suspect has been identified and  investigation continues.

Aug 4 – Officers of the El Dorado Springs Police Department served a search warrant at 314 West Fields after received information concerning illegal drug activity. Officers located and seized illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia as evidence. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Colby A. Prough, 42, El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of possession of a controlled substances with the intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance, keeping a public  nuisance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers completed a probable cause statement for these charges. Officers received a Cedar County warrant, charging prough with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia with a $100,000 bond. Teri Munoz, 45, El Dorado Springs, was released from the scene with no charges.

Aug 5 – Officers responded to 309 West Hightower concerning a reported stolen motor vehicle. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Jenna N. Koski, 23, El Dorado Springs, for the probable cause of second degree burglary and tampering with a motor vehicle. Officers completed a probable cause statement for these charges. Officers received a Cedar County warrant charging Koski with second degree burglary and first degree tampering with a $15,000 cash bond. She was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearance.

Officers responded to the 100 block of South Grand, storage units, concerning a report of trespassing. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Bryan R. Shrout, 49,  El Dorado Springs, charging him with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on summons pendingp court appearance.

Arrests: Michael P. Isbell, 37,  El Dorado Springs, for  El Dorado Springs warrants charging him with possession of drug paraphernalia and peace disturbance by loud noise with a $551 cash bond, and   State Probation violation warrant,  on the original charge of Firearms Possession, with no bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County Jail pending bond and court appearances.

Cathy M. Houts, 42, El Dorado Springs, for two active warrants from Humansville charging her with motor vehicle equipment violation and failure to register with a $210 cash bond. She was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending bond and court appearance.

Jenny E. Cheek, 37, Milo, for an active Cedar County warrant, charging her with failure to obey Judge’s order with no bond. She was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending court appearance.

Officers responded to 200 West McCrary Circle, Apt #26, concerning a reported assault. Suspect has been identified and investigation continues.

Aug 6 – Officers responded to a reported trespassing at 314 West Fields Street. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Carrie E. Shane, 31, El Dorado Springs, charging her with concealed weapons prohibited.  She was released on summons pending court appearance
