April 4, 2023, Special Election Ballot Issues

The following are the ballot issues to be voted on at the General Municipal Election to be held in Cedar County Missouri on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in April 2023, being the 4th day of April 2023, as presented in my office.

Cedar County, Missouri Sales Tax Question
“Shall Cedar County, Missouri impose a countywide sales tax of three percent (3%) on all tangible personal property retail sales of adult use marijuana sold in Cedar County, Missouri?”

Yes or No

If you are in favor of the question place an “X” in the box opposite “YES”. If you are opposed to the question, place an “X” in the box opposite “NO”.

City of Stockton, Missouri Recreational Marijuana Sales Tax Question
“Shall the City of Stockton, Missouri impose an additional sales tax of three percent (3%) the retail sale of adult use non-medical marijuana?”

Yes or No

If you are in favor of the question place an “X” in the box opposite “YES”. If you are opposed to the question, place an “X” in the box opposite “NO”.

City of El Dorado Springs, Missouri Sales Tax Question
“Shall the Municipality of El Dorado Springs, continue to impose a sales tax of one-quarter of one percent for the purpose of providing funding for local parks including a new swimming pool for the City of El Dorado Springs? This simply extends an existing sales tax and will not increase the current sales tax rate.

Dogwood Special Road District Question
“Shall the Dogwood Special Road District retain a tax levy of 35 cents on the hundred dollar assessed valuation, for a period of four years (2023, 2024, 2025, 2026)?”

If you are in favor of the question place an “X” in the box opposite the “YES”. If you are opposed to the question, place an “X” in the box opposite “NO”.
