El Dorado Springs R-2 School District Request for Proposal Audit Services

The El Dorado Springs R-2 School District is requesting proposals from licensed certified public accountant firms to audit its financial statements for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2021, with the option of auditing its financial statements for the subsequent two (2) fiscal years. The independent auditor must hold a current permit to practice public accounting in the state of Missouri and meet the requirements for continuing education and peer review as defined by the Missouri State Board of Accountancy and Government Auditing Standards.  The district also requests a copy of the audit organization’s peer review report.  The independent auditor cannot be suspended or debarred from doing business with the state or federal government.  All subcontractors must also meet these requirements.

To be considered, a copy of a proposal must be received by Heath Oates, at 901 S. Grand, El Dorado Springs R-2, El Dorado Springs, MO 64744, by 12:00 noon on March 31, 2021. The El Dorado Springs R-2 School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids. It is anticipated the selection of the firm will be completed on April 8, 2021. Following the notification of the selected firm it is expected a contract will be executed between both parties by April 15, 2021.
